THREE VIDEO SOCIAL CAMPAIGN & GAME INTRO
Blackout games are cool, yeah, but everyone has them. In 2019 Apple released “Dark Mode” for iOS, allowing all screen features to have a dark background. The marketing team at Utah Athletics thought maybe it would be interesting to take this year’s game a similar route.
MAGNIFICENT — RIDE•OLOGIE
PROMOTIONAL SOCIAL VIDEO
Ride•ologie wanted to add variety to their mostly photography based feed. Using (and showing off) the awesome studio lights in their spin room, we shot a colorful, 2000s iPod commercial homage.
The idea eventually turned into an upbeat brand anthem for the studio.

When the snowmaking begins, ski season is around the corner. With one of the most sophisticated snowmaking systems in North America, Snowbasin wanted to announce the start of snow production in a very different way: with a narrative short.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, when Julian Blackmon got drafted to the Indianapolis Colts, I created this short animated scene of a classic “Juice” tackle-for-loss.
THE FORTUNE TELLER – DESIGN
Fortune telling cards are on their way back, slipstreaming in the path of salt crystals and astrology rage. So I made my own.

KICKGENIUS — IDENTITY REBRAND
Winter of 2013 I decided to shoot my shot and send a logo design and animation to my favorite YouTubers, Tre and Jay from KickGenius.
That logo turned into a creative partnership lasting five years and taking me to work with clients like EastBay, Nike, Under Armour, Axe, Jordan Brand, Adidas, SneakerCon and more.

Somewhat Abridged
IN THE BEGINNING: My dad showed me filter gallery in photoshop CS3 on his late 06 iMac. Meanwhile I was getting alright at video editing software, and stealing my mom’s 70D to shoot videos. Two years after that I got paid to make a soccer poster for a senior at my school and I was hooked deep. People will pay me for this??
Through high school and into college I spent a lot of time freelancing and eventually studying film and design at the University of Utah. Creative jobs paid my way through college and bought me my degree.
I’m a big sports fan, all sports really, so when the opportunity to take on football and gymnastics projects for Utah Athletics arose... I jumped. In 3 years I became the main video contractor for the department. I spent summers in Arkansas (long story) and SoCal, making content for social influencers, before interning as an art director in NYC. Finally, I completed my degree in a self-designed “Business of Creative” major. All that was great, but my personal favorite accomplishment? For a SHORT but GLORIOUS stint, I was a daily vlogger.
These days I run a small agency called Atmos Creative Group. I live and work in Salt Lake City, UT. I’m still hooked deep. Still striving to make more neat stuff with more neat people. Still pretty shocked people will pay me for this...
